Capturing the Cosmos, One Image at a Time
The Cosmos Through My Lens
Space has always captivated me, from my childhood memories of my brother explaining aspects of space at the kitchen table, to the moment I realized astrophotography was possible.
On October 30, 2023, I dove in headfirst, spending six hours at a local astro store talking telescopes with the owner. I left with a Skywatcher 80ED and HEQ5-PRO mount, ready to learn the ropes. It took months to master the complex world of equatorial mounts, alignments, and balancing—but my first shot of Orion and the Running Man sealed the deal. I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve upgraded to a ZWO camera, ASI AIR, added a REDCAT 51 and ASKAR 120 to my scope family, and began pushing the boundaries of my craft with monochrome imaging.
