Charles Messier was an astronomer, born in France in 1730. He is famous for his astronomical catalog which lists 110 bright star clusters, nebulae and galaxies which are now referred to as the Messier objects.

There are only 100 of these objects visible to those who live in the southern hemisphere. Take a look below at my attempts to capture all visible objects and how I did it.
